I'm stressed guys.
Really really stressed.
I tend to get worked up over the most unimportant things.
Off to Atlanta for a week on the 20th. I will be traveling with my boss and 5 Digital Arts kids. We were awarded with a week long paid trip to Hotlanta to visit the sites, and receive our awards from Microsoft. Yay. It all sounds great, but school starts back up for me on the 13th. I can't see myself doing advanced illustration in a hotel room. My days are full 6am-10pm every night. I hope I can make this work somehow.

Ahh breathe Kate breathe. In other news, Mom is doing okay. Her white blood cells and platelets are so low again that she can't undergo her round of chemo. We must wait till she gets stronger before we proceed. It's a team effort, or at least it feels that way. I saw my Mom have fun last weekend, and laugh. It was so nice to see her be herself again. The laughter is back. Looking over at my bald Mom sitting on the boat with fireworks over head I felt oddly sad. I realized that I don't know her fate just yet. I felt scared again. My heart was filled with love for my Mom, Dad, and Paul at that very moment.

I had a really wonderful thought a couple weeks ago. For the first time ever I woke up, and was happy to be alive. I literally said in my mind, I'm happy I woke up today, I'm happy I'm here. I haven't felt relief from my depression in years. I want to cry, but it's a happy cry now. I can't believe how peaceful I feel inside for once. I can sleep.
